- Precious metals oxidize when exposed to the air, so please store all jewelry in a jewelry box or a zip lock baggy.
- I personally do not recommend ultrasonic cleaners, ammonia or any chemical solution to clean jewelry.
- I recommend using Connoisseurs Silver Cleaner (dip) to clean your silver jewelry. It can be found at most major retail chains at the jewelry counter for about $4 in an all gray bottle. Place your silver jewelry in the tray and simply dunk it in and out for only a few seconds then rinse under luke warm water until the cleaning solution feels completely gone, then pat dry with a cotton cloth.
- NEVER immerse fresh water pearls in the silver cleaner, it will strip the pearls of all luster instantly and this is irreversible.
- Silver cleaner CAN be used on Swarovski glass pearls.
- Never immerse your sterling / gold jewelry in chlorine, salt water, or mineral springs. This will cause major corrosion to your metals and is often irreversible.
- Put your jewelry on last. Perfumes, make-ups, lotions, and hair styling products cause corrosion, build up, and damage to precious metals, pearls, and stones.
- Please remove all jewelry before sleeping or before any sports activities.
